Training is provided by a Texas LPC-S and counts for the minimum 50% approved provider requirement of the Texas Administrative Code.


Before the event, you will receive an email from CE-Go with access to the virtual event. After the event, you will receive access to your evaluation and continuing education certificate via a personalized "attendee dashboard" link, hosted on the CE-Go website. This link and access to the virtual event will be sent to the email account you used to register for the event.

Target Audience

This educational activity is intended for behavioral health professionals, including Psychologists, Social Workers, Counselors, and MFT's.

Event Learning Objectives

  • Participants will identify the values and stressors of school administrators and teachers that interact with supporting play therapy clients struggling with mental health.
  • Participants will describe classroom appropriate strategies supporting play therapy clients mental health.
  • Participant will describe at least 3 strategies for supporting neuro-affirming learning strategies in the classroom.

Technology

1. This virtual event will be hosted via Google Meet, and you may be prompted to download or upgrade your Google Meet app if using a mobile device. A strong WiFi connection will be required for best quality.


2. We recommend clicking your "Join Webinar" button early and checking that your speakers are on before the event begins. Please do not worry about being seen or heard! Attendee video feeds and mics are turned off by default when entering a webinar. You will be able to ask questions via the Q&A feature.


3. Please respect that no copying, recording, or distribution of live session content is allowed. CE's are provided for the "live" sessions only. CE's will not be available for the recordings.

Refund Policy

All refund requests must be made in writing within 15 days of the purchase, and no less than 14 days before the date of the course. Every effort will be made to achieve resolution, including, but not limited to: refund of fees, substitution of course purchased, credit provided for future course. 

Grievance Policy

Calming Communities, PLLC is fully committed to conducting all activities in strict conformance with the American Psychological Association’s Ethical Principles of Psychologists, and the National Board of Certified Counselors Code of Ethics. APT will comply with all legal and ethical responsibilities to be non-discriminatory in promotional activities, program content and in the treatment of program participants. The monitoring and assessment of compliance with these standards will be responsibility of the CEO and Program Reviewer, Robyn D Reyna.

While Calming Communities, PLLC goes to great lengths to assure fair treatment for all participants and attempts to anticipate problems, it recognizes that complaints do and will arise. Calming Communities, PLLC will do its best to anticipate problems and, when they do present themselves, will attempt to alleviate complaints as quickly as possible.


Grievance Policy

When a complaint, either verbally or written, is filed with Program Reviewer, the following guidelines are followed with respect to achieving resolution:

1. Complaints relative to a speaker or workshop leader, contents of instructional materials being presented, or an individual educational style being utilized, the individual voicing disapproval is requested to first address concerns to the presenter. If the presenter is not available, place his/her comments in writing. Program Reviewer will convey these comments to the speaker while maintaining confidentiality of the complainant.

2. If the complaint concerns a continuing education activity, its content, level of presentation, or facilities in which the event is being held, the Program Reviewer will attempt to resolve the matter as expeditiously as possible. If the offered resolution (resolutions may include, but not be limited to partial/full refund of fees paid; credit toward future event) not satisfactory to the individual filing the complaint, then further action may be taken.
In the latter instance, the individual is requested to place his/her complaint in writing to the attention of the Robyn Reyna. The complaint is then reviewed by the Program Reviewer. A written response will be issued within 30 days of receipt of the written complaint.
Within 30 days of the resolution rendered by the Program Reviewer, the complainant may file a written appeal to the Program Reviewer. The decision of the Program Reviewer is final.
